An unforgettable brand launch experience

Early in 2022, Taylors of Harrogate approached Mobile Retail Group for the second time, following our collaboration on their Yorkshire Tea brand, to help with a brand activation they were planning. They wanted a memorable and reliable exhibition trailer to take their at-home coffee on the road. It needed to embody their new brand look, be beautifully self-sufficient, and sustainably-built and operated. It needed to be an immersive Taylors kitchen, packed with tech and gadgets.

What we did

Our design team came up with a number of proposals and quickly the idea was born to create ‘Taylors Coffee Trailer’. The trailer had to enable visitors to self-serve hot water, which would be added to one of Taylors’ coffee bags. The idea was to take the trailer to a festival with about 30,000 people attending per day and give away their promotional products.

While in design talks, our creative team were tasked with keeping up with their sustainability and green ethos, and provisions were made to include a solar system to help provide renewable energy to the trailer. Our proposal’s look and feel included use of their brand green, as well as fabrics and timber finishes which echoed the nature of the product and the importance of sustainability to the business.

After the trailer was completed, it was taken to bluedot festival and Deer Shed festival, proving a huge success. Taylors sold out of all products at both festivals and got their new branding and products in front of their target audience.

Rus and team worked incredibly hard to meet a deadline we asked for and that was short because of our lengthy deliberations. Your team made the events this summer possible and delivered a sensational trailer that has landed so well internally and externally and is absolutely unique.
