Adam from Peddling Pizza attended St Albans Market with an e-bike and custom trailer which carried his pizza oven, gazebo and condiment boxes. He came to us to expand his mobile pizza catering business adventure as his e-bike set-up was holding him back from larger events which were further afield.
Adam originally considered the Citroen H vans as they always attract attention but these are hard to come by, retro and normally require extensive renovation.
This is where the Piaggio Ape Classic came into play, as it’s compact enough to be able to access the markets, as well as being quirky, eye catching, motor assisted and road legal. This enables Peddling Pizza to attend long distance events with a generous converted space. This allowed Adam to be able to carry more products and keep his delicious pizzas cool or hot with our purpose-built 50/50 eutectic storage cupboard.
We customized the build to Adam’s specific storage requirements as he needed to be able to store the gazebo, pizza accessories and condiment boxes, while still having space to fit two Gozney Roccbox pizza ovens. Our creative team incorporated the Peddling Pizza logo and developed custom paintwork to ensure his Piaggio Ape Classic is as unique as his business.
