Kate and Matt approached us after they had been on holiday in Scandinavia. Inspired by what they had seen on their travels, they were looking to start a mobile coffee and cake business.
They wanted to trade in the local villages and towns on the outskirts of Manchester and decided that the Piaggio Ape Classic with a three-way rear opening box would fit perfectly.
After a consultation with our branding team, they came up with brand logo and colour scheme to work to… Kaffe and Kaka was born!! (That’s coffee and cake in Swedish)
Their mobile coffee van conversion was built with an onboard LPG tank which was to be refilled at a local petrol station so there was no need for lugging around the LPG bottles. A warming cabinet was also fitted, enabling them to serve warm sweet and savoury treats to their customers.
Matt and Kate have continued to work alongside Mobile Retail for servicing and maintenance of their mobile coffee shop. Their business is going from strength to strength and we look forward to seeing their continued growth
